Great affordable Italian cuisine! Teriffic place to gather, staff is awesome as well!

They use quality pepperoni. I had to order 2X pepperoni to get the same amount as what Donato's pizza gives you. It's still a rim to rim pizza and it's less expensive than Donato's. The grinders lack toppings, but still good. Salads use iceberg lettuce. Too bad they can't use romaine or a deep green variety.

The woman who answered my call found out I'm not too familiar with their menu. She was on the phone with me while I described what it was I had before and knew what it was. She was so nice and so patient and everything I ordered came exactly the way I ordered it and I wasnt missing anything at all, all the way down to the specific amount of sauces.

This has become a Marion institution over the years. The pizza are good, I think the subs might be better (and they have a great special). And even though they are often busy, the food is ready pretty quickly. Tonight we had a family gathering here and they kindly reserved us space and thought ahead to give us extra plates for our cake.

I love the Reubens and husband likes salad and bean soup and cornbread.

Absolutely not worth the price. I payed 14.50 for a medium pig pizza that I could have gotten in a size large from carnavellis for only 12.99 and it tastes ten times better.

6 stars is more accurate. Friendly and courteous staff. Great food very fresh salad ingredients.

Family business and such great service. Wonderful to support local business and the Sustainability Club called Moccasins from OSU always eats here. 😁👍

Ate dinner here tonight for the first time. We were shopping at the plaza where this restaurant is located and they seemed pretty busy. Busy is usually a good sign for a food restaurant, so we ate there, and it was surprisingly good! Great service, yummy food, and good prices. Would definitely go there again.

The best pizza in Marion.

Very good Italian sub. The lasagna not so much that was just ok. But would return for their subs.

Really enjoyed it! We are from Texas & were up visiting my husband while he worked up here. Service was great, smiling face at the register. LOTS of choices to choose from. & the garlic cheese bread is AMAZING!!! Very great priced too!

I ordered pasta, soup and a dinner salad. The soup was spilled and the delivery driver handed my the box with the soup in it and it was dripping! Soup was everywhere. I am very dissappointed. But i still love this place🙄

Pizza isn’t the only thing great about Paynes Pizza. Their salads, their sandwiches, and their spaghetti is the best out of any of the major pizza chains. I would recommend trying this pizza place over the big franchises.

I’ve always enjoyed their food my only criticism is the pizza dough is not always cooked the way we like it . This last time I asked for well done and it was the opposite. BUT as much as we eat there it’s far and in between. Great lasagna, pizza and the Italian sub is to die for. The staff is also always friendly.

This pizza joint is one of the best in Marion. Busy most nights and weekends. The best time to go is any lunch time week or weekend. But no matter when you go be assured that your food will be hot, fresh, and correct. They do have specials each day of the week and seem to be of good value. I am particularly a fan of the Reuben sub as well as the ham and cheese sub. I have tried several of their pizzas and they are always loaded with the toppings and a pleasurable amount of cheese. Don't hesitate to try them if you want to get out of the normal chain of pizza joints that are available.

Great food. Subs are amazing! Their lunch special is a great value and the food is always fresh. The pizza can be a little greasey but overall a great place to eat.

Personally not my cup of tea. With an over-abundance of pizza joints in Marion, I easily avoid this one altogether.

This is the second time I've tried this place and I have to say is gotten better... The pizza is not very flavorful (kinda bland) but still it's pretty good

I’m from Wisconsin and I was impresssed with this Ohio pizza restaurant. Breadsticks were amazing better than Pizza Hut that’s for sure.

Visited my family in marion and we ordered 40 dollars worth the pizza, appetizers and dessert and I have to say that every single bite was worth it. Me and my cousin alone finished a large pizza by ourselves and destroyed the dessert pizza, it was probably one of the best I'd ever had. If you live in the area or just visit like I did I highly reccomend going here! Can't wait to eat some more.

I order the grill chicken salad. I have always order it but havent in months .and I was highly disappointed in the salad. It was mostly lettus it only had 5 very little tomatoes about the same amount of green pepper and mushrooms and 4 pieces of grilled chicken. So very disappointed in it.hope they get it better.

Have had lunch here a few times. Great subs, pizza and salads. Friendly staff and homey atmosphere. Great food for the $$.

Very consistent. We order at least three to four times a month, minimum. Salads and pizza are always delicious. Always get it delivered, drivers are polite and on point. Getting them on the phone to order can be challenging at times, but I think that’s the mark of a business doing really well. Thanks for being my go to for the nights we don’t cook.
